Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy's lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Teddy Zitron, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Naftali Tilove, who scored 8 points.
Leading Ozanam to victory were Wardens Niclas and Talan Olmstead. Niclas scored 13 points, while Olmstead scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The matchup was Olmstead's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaireion Nicholson, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Ozanam, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy will head out on the road to face off against Frontier School of Excellence at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ozanam, they will be playing at home against Christ Prep Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
