The Humble Christian Cougars won the last time they faced the Banff Bears, and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went Humble Christian's way against Banff as Humble Christian made off with a 54-34 victory.
It was another big night for Noah Vickers, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and five blocks. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Kyron Williams was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
The win got Humble Christian back to even at 6-6. As for Banff, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Humble Christian has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Cornerstone Christian Academy at 3:20 p.m. on December 16th. Cornerstone Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Banff will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Faith Academy at 12:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
