It was a good run, but  the Sacred Heart of Jesus Knights unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell  75-65 to University School of Jackson. Sacred Heart of Jesus was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in February of 2023.
 Sacred Heart of Jesus lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   A J Morman, who  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and ten  assists. Morman has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more points the last six times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keelan Johnson, who  scored 21 points along with two  steals.
 It was another big night for  Mills Terry, who  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and ten  assists for University School of Jackson. It was the first time this season that  Terry  posted eight or more  assists. Another player making a difference was  Brady Smith, who  scored 14 points along with six  rebounds and five  assists.
 Sacred Heart of Jesus' loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for University School of Jackson, their victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 18-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacred Heart of Jesus will  face off against the Eagles at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for University School of Jackson, they and the Lions will face off  at 7:30  p.m.  on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Trinity Christian Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 66.8  points per game this season.
