May River put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Bridges Prep Buccaneers by a score of 58-46. For the Sharks , this counts as revenge for the 53-46 win the Buccaneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Q Young and A Wilson certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Young went 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds, while Wilson dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down 11 or more in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Khamari Coaxum, who posted six points along with five boards and three blocks.

May River's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-0. As for Bridges Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

May River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-53 win against Hilton Head Christian Academy on the 16th. As for Bridges Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-57 victory against Savannah Classical Academy on the 16th.
