The Stanfield Tigers fell victim to the Regis Rams''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 64-0 loss at the hands of the Rams. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, Stanfield couldn't push the score so high this time.
Regis' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kollin Schumacher, who threw for 262 yards and five touchdowns. Noah Richter was in the mix too, providing Regis with three touchdowns.
Stanfield now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Regis, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Stanfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Regis will square off against Heppner at TBD on Friday. Heppner is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
