Leonard is on an eight-game streak of home losses, Forest Hill a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Leonard Lancers will take on the Forest Hill Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Leonard comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Friday, Leonard ended up a good deal behind Lake Worth and lost 21-6.
Despite the loss, Leonard saw an underclassman step up: Ronari Wilkins picked up 140 receiving yards and a touchdown. Wilkins' longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.
Meanwhile, Forest Hill had to suffer through a rough 36-6 loss at the hands of Jupiter. Forest Hill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
The losses dropped Leonard to 0-8 and Forest Hill to 3-5.
Leonard lost to Forest Hill at home by a decisive 14-0 margin when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Will Leonard have more luck at home instead of on the road?
