If Liberty was riding high off their 4-1 takedown of Deer Valley last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Liberty took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pittsburg on Friday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Liberty couldn't push the score so high this time.
Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Pittsburg, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty will square off against Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pittsburg will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Antioch at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
