Lafayette Jefferson dropped their record down to 8-4 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cascade Cadets. The Bronchos were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matches prior), but the Cadets' pitchers proved too tough.
Lafayette Jefferson got a good showing from Marshall Evano, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Evano has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.
