The Vista Ridge Rangers will take on the Harmony School of Advancement Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Vista Ridge sitting on eight straight victories and Harmony School of Advancement on four.
Vista Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Wednesday. They skirted past Round Rock 3-2.
Vista Ridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 20-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-12.

Vista Ridge found their leader in freshman Kai Nedrow, who had 22 digs and four aces. Those 22 digs set a new season-high mark for Nedrow. Lucas Henriques also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.
Harmony School of Advancement had won three straight road games and Joseph Hoang did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Hawks skirted past Summer Creek 3-2 for which the team can thank Hoang, who had 21 digs and four assists. Nedrow has been hot, having also posted two or more aces the last five times he's played.
If you add up the scores from across all five sets (104-103) Harmony School of Advancement actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 26-24, 22-25, 25-19, 15-11.
Harmony School of Advancement's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Vista Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
