Holden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Knob Noster Panthers. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Holden's record now sits at 0-4. As for Knob Noster, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Holden will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025. Knob Noster will take on Stover in a holiday battle at at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. Knob Noster has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 184 points over their last three matches.
