Meanwhile, DeSoto County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hardee. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.
DeSoto County now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Babcock, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
