Southeast won the last time they faced Marmaton Valley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lancers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Southeast took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11.

Braelyn Sutton paced Southeast's offense, picking up ten kills. Sutton got some help from Elena White and her 11 assists. Maizey Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Southeast's win bumped their record up to 10-22-1. As for Marmaton Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.

Southeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Northeast on the 16th. As for Marmaton Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Chetopa on the 21st.
