A big part of Christian's victory came down to the chemistry between Kaleb Runkle and his top target Kai Rosier. Runkle threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73% of his passes while Rosier picked up 222 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Rosier's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards. Another player making a difference was Jacob Kirchhoefer, who rushed for 49 yards and a pair of scores.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rancho Mirage will take on Coachella Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian, they will face off against Bishop's at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
