The Horizon Science Academy Hawks  have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three  contests by 30  points or more this season. They breezed by Columbus Torah Academy on the road  to the tune of  53-23. The  victory was nothing new for Horizon Science Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.
 Horizon Science Academy got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Glory  Owoyemi out in front who  scored 17 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which  Owoyemi has scored at least 25% of Horizon Science Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Halima Elmi, who  scored 18 points.
 Horizon Science Academy pushed their record up to 3-2 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. They've been dominating during the  matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43 points. As for Columbus Torah Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horizon Science Academy is on the road again  on Tuesday and play against Columbus School for Girls at 6:30  p.m.  on December 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Ohio (Columbus School for Girls is ranked 520th, while Horizon Science Academy is ranked 538th). Columbus Torah Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ohio School for the Deaf at 5:30  p.m.  on January 23, 2024.
