In what's become a running theme this season, the Trinity Christian Crusaders gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 83-61 margin over Northwood Temple Academy. The victory was nothing new for Trinity Christian as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Trinity Christian found their leader in underclassman Justin Caldwell, who dropped a double-double on 47 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Caldwell has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Linwood Rowe, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Northwood Temple Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kenny Vera. Despite the final result, he scored 32 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Vera is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Winston Waite, who scored 14 points.
Trinity Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-9 record this season.
