The Mosinee Indians had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.5 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They blew past Bloomer, posting a 55-16 win at home. The result was nothing new for Mosinee, who have now won eight matchups by 33 points or more so far this season.
Bloomer's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Gabriel Prince, who rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Prince's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. Zeke Strand was another key contributor, picking up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Mosinee's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43 points. As for Bloomer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
