Fremont had to settle for second on Wednesday, but Salesi Moa sure wasn't going down easily. Moa turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 68 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making seven total tackles and defending a pass.
With the loss, Fremont broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3. Moa and Fremont will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Syracuse at 4:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Owen Talbot's Big Game Leads Davis over Syracuse
Owen Talbot posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Wednesday. He rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
If history really does repeat itself, Talbot might just drop another big game when he faces off against Mountain Ridge on Friday. Talbot rushed for 37 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 45 receiving yards the last time he and the Sentinels duked it out back in August.
