If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for New London. On Friday they take on Lone Tree at 7:00 PM. Lone Tree will need to watch out since New London have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Last Friday, New London were putting the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered WACO 71-12.
Meanwhile, Lone Tree might have drawn first blood against H-L-V, but it was H-L-V who got the last laugh. Lone Tree fell to H-L-V 26-40. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Lone Tree.
New London's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Lone Tree's loss dropped them down to 1-3. We'll see if New London's success rolls on or if Lone Tree are able to steal their positive momentum.
