The Classical Academy Caimans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by Clairemont 72-28. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Classical Academy in their matchups with Clairemont: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the defeat, Classical Academy saw an underclassman step up: Max Berzanski scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Berzanski has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jackson Crandall, who scored six points.
Classical Academy's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-9. As for Clairemont, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Classical Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Guajome Park Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Clairemont, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against High Tech SD at 7:30 p.m. High Tech SD is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
