Adirondack had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Clinton Comets. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.

Allison Croniser was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Croniser wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Skyler Green, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Adirondack's record now sits at 6-3. As for Clinton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Adirondack wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Little Falls on the 7th. As for Clinton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-8 loss against Canastota on the 7th.
