Mineral County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of DeVayne Isom, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, and Triston Jones who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. Isom has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Chase Reeves was another key contributor, scoring two points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Mineral County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Virginia City, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
