The Arapahoe Warriors waltzed into their game Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They enjoyed a cozy 49-34 win over ThunderRidge. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Arapahoe also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Arapahoe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Liz Gentry led the charge by scoring 20 points along with five rebounds. The match was Gentry's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Gianna Smith, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Arapahoe's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for ThunderRidge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
Arapahoe will face off against Rampart at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for ThunderRidge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Legend at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Legend presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than ThunderRidge in Colorado (Legend is ranked second, while ThunderRidge is ranked 33rd).
