The Kentridge Chargers waltzed into Tuesday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 71-16 victory over Kentlake. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-8.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kentridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayla Keowla, who scored 12 points along with 3 steals. Keowla is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Raelyn Ofrancia, who scored 14 points.
Kentridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Kentlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kentridge will take on Mt. Rainier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kentlake, they will head out on the road to face off against Cleveland at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
