Klamath Union took down Astoria 48-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ben Mithcell threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 15 yards in the win.
The Pelicans led 4A Skyline in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on the Fishermen. Mithcell in the win.
On the ground, North Valley's Austin Neill has rushed for 1058 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Kyle Rose. The North Valley star has 31 catches for 555 yards.
Going into this week's game against Ontario, the Knights' Tristan Burke needs 116 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season. Accruing a total of 25 touchdowns this year, Burke has thrown for 1884 yards with seven interceptions.
Klamath Union made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,380 from 5,688. The improvement came about via a 48-12 victory over Astoria last week.
