Maverick Cass posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
