Hall-Dale is 8-1 against Winthrop since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will host the Ramblers at 4:00 p.m. Hall-Dale is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
Hall-Dale took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They never let Mount Abram get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Lucy Gray made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Maddy Coro was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Genevieve Ciccarelli was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Hall-Dale always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .677. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Winthrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Oak Hill, falling 15-8. Ramblers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Raiders since on Monday.
Hall-Dale pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Winthrop, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Everything went Hall-Dale's way against Winthrop in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Hall-Dale made off with a 13-0 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ramblers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
