The Revere Minutemen will head out on the road to take on the Norwayne Bobcats at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Wednesday, things could have been worse for Revere, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-40 loss to Brecksville-Broadview Heights. While losing is never fun, Revere can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while Brecksville-Broadview Heights is ranked 71st).
Meanwhile, Norwayne had to suffer through a rough 64-29 loss at the hands of Chippewa. Norwayne has not had much luck with Chippewa recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Revere has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Norwayne, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
Revere might still be hurting after the 58-37 loss they got from Norwayne in their previous matchup back in February of 2021. Can Revere avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
