Softball Recap: Gresham Wins Going Away Against Clackamas

Gresham got themselves on the board against Clackamas on Friday, but Clackamas never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Cavaliers. The Gophers haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Suntaya Riddle and Maddy Sagapolutele did most of the damage at the plate: Riddle went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Sagapolutele went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Sagapolutele has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was La Terra Foster-Frison, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Gresham's record is now 9-4. As for Clackamas, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
