Softball Recap: Fishers Sets Scoring Season-High Against Lawrence North

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fishers). They blew past the Lawrence North Wildcats 19-7 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Azstryd Alexander, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Kendall Jordan also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Fishers always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .641. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lawrence North only posted an OBP of .462.

Fishers' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Lawrence North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, Fishers will host Westfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lawrence North, they will venture away from home to square off against Hamilton Southeastern at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
