The Thomas Jefferson Spartans and the Arapahoe Warriors will face off  at 3:30  p.m.  on December 14th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Thomas Jefferson will be strutting in after a  victory while Arapahoe will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Thomas Jefferson scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding  85-58 victory over Columbine on the road. Given Thomas Jefferson's advantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 42nd, while Columbine is ranked 271st), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Thomas Jefferson got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Doren Sacha out in front who  scored 17 points along with eight  assists and six  rebounds. Sacha also  posted eight  assists for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was  William Perkins, who  scored 22 points along with three  steals.
 Meanwhile, Arapahoe was the victim of a  tough 58-34 defeat at the hands of Chaparral  on Saturday. Arapahoe has struggled against Chaparral recently, as their  matchup on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 The  win (which was Thomas Jefferson's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Arapahoe, their loss was  their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  bumped their record down to 1-3.
