On Thursday, St. Brendan came up short against Lehigh and fell 51-43. St. Brendan has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Defeat or not, St. Brendan got some senior leadership from Jaden Castro who scored 17 points and Gianna Vindigni who scored 15 points. Castro scored a full 39.5% of St. Brendan's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Claudia Luis, who scored six points.
St. Brendan has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Lehigh, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
St. Brendan will be playing in front of their home fans against Monsignor Pace at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lehigh will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Gateway at 3:40 p.m. on January 4th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Gateway is ranked 134th, while Lehigh is ranked 150th).
