Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sherwood). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Century Jaguars 42-10. The Bowmen haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jack Wilson and Jayden Wallace. Wilson gained 60 total yards and three touchdowns while Wallace gained 72 total yards and two touchdowns. Wilson also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending one pass. Brandon Colli got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Sherwood's run defense was locked in: Century could only muster 1.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Nathanael Fagan for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sherwood's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 4.07 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 6.97 on average over their last five games.

Sherwood didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brandon Arreguin, Fagan, and Colli picked up one apiece. Colli got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Sherwood's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Century, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
