The Foran Lions were the 64-41 winner over the Hand Tigers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Foran fell to the Tigers 45-39.
Despite the loss, Foran still got an impressive performance from Faith Doyle, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Deitelbaum, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Foran's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Hand, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-9.
Foran will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Academics at 6:00 p.m. As for Hand, they will head out on the road to challenge the Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sheehan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Tigers in Connecticut (the Titans are ranked 14th, while the Tigers are ranked 76th).
