In other batting news, Ethaun Thomas was incredible, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and three RBI. Cash Gaines was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBI.
The victory made it two in a row for Fort Wayne Wayne and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Luers, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
