It was another big night for Talon Albrecht, who scored 21 points along with three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 21 or more in the last three games he's played. Dylan Pembrook was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Routt Catholic was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 54-48 to the Cougars. While losing is never fun, Routt Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 261st, while the Cougars are ranked 105th).
Greenfield/Northwestern has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Routt Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.
Greenfield/Northwestern couldn't quite finish off the Rockets in their previous meeting back in January and fell 31-29. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Routt Catholic's Bryson Mossman, who scored 11 points along with seven steals.
