The Octorara Area Braves''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. The matchup between Octorara Area and Donegal wasn't particularly close, with Octorara Area falling 26-7. Octorara Area has struggled against Donegal recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Donegal had a senior duo take command as Brock Hammaker threw for 302 yards and three touchdowns and Ruben Mumper gained 96 total yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Leelan Baughman, who picked up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Octorara Area's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 12.3 points per game. As for Donegal, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
Octorara Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Donegal also has no future games currently scheduled.
