Dinuba was the 2-0 winner over Roosevelt when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Emperors fell just short of the Rough Riders by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Emperors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Delilah Rangel paced Dinuba's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rangel got some help from Keyana Gonzalez and her 16 assists. Neveah Garcia controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Dinuba's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Roosevelt, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-8.

Dinuba has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Tulare Union on the 4th. As for Roosevelt, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Coalinga on the 4th.
