The Northwest Area Rangers will face off against the North Pocono Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
North Pocono will be up against a hot Northwest Area squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. Everything went Northwest Area's way against Sullivan County on Friday as Northwest Area made off with an 11-1 win.

Jenna Robaczewski was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Ashlyn Hermanofski was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Callie Moyer, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Northwest Area was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in ten consecutive matches dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, North Pocono put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over Liberty. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly six runs.
North Pocono got a massive performance out of Avarie Roscioli, who scored a run while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Ambrosecchia, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
North Pocono's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Northwest Area, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Northwest Area hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .483. However, it's not like North Pocono struggles in that department as they've averaged .408. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
