Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heritage Christian Academy). They walked away with a 47-35 victory over the Pansophia Academy Pansophia Pumas on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pansophia Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Greyson Tomlinson, who posted eight points along with ten boards and three steals, and Israel Washington, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Tomlinson is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Max Burger, who scored four points and five rebounds.

Heritage Christian Academy pushed their record up to 3-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Pansophia Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Heritage Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-38 loss against West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science on the 27th. As for Pansophia Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Litchfield at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
