Avon Old Farms and Berkshire School are an even 2-2-2 against one another since November of 2018, but likely not for long. The Beavers will venture away from home to challenge the Bears at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Avon Old Farms is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Avon Old Farms is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: Choate Rosemary Hall School, who was ranked ninth at the time (Avon Old Farms was ranked seventh). The Beavers blew past the Wild Boars 4-1 on Saturday. Considering Avon Old Farms have won five matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Berkshire School kept a clean sheet against Westminster School on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Martlets. Berkshire School haven't had any issues with Westminster School recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Berkshire School back to even at 8-8-1. As for Avon Old Farms, their win bumped their record up to 12-2-2.

Avon Old Farms came out on top in a nail-biter against Berkshire School in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Beavers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
