Meanwhile, North Callaway suffered a rough 71-45 loss at the hands of Sacred Heart on Saturday. While losing is never fun, North Callaway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 474th, while Sacred Heart is ranked 136th).
Sam Pezold put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 15 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Brown, who scored five points along with two steals.
Mark Twain has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season. As for North Callaway, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-17.
