The Hudson Cobras's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 65-52 to Fivay. Hudson has not had much luck with Fivay recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Hudson still got an impressive performance from Tejacion Chapman, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. Chapman is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
Fivay's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamarian Miller, who scored 14 points along with six steals and five assists. Another player making a difference was Dominick Walsh, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Hudson's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-8. As for Fivay, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.
Hudson will be playing at home against Hernando at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fivay won't have much time to rest: their next match is against IMG Academy Gray at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th.
