A Season-Best Performance from Triston Handson Leads Sinton over Cuero
Sinton was led to victory by Triston Handson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Handson rushed for 208 yards and three touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (104.7) per game. Those 208 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
If the past is any indication, Handson could be in store for another big game when he takes on Ingleside on Friday. When Handson last faced the Mustangs back in November of 2023, he rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Jace Gamez Dazzles in Cuero Loss
Jace Gamez continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 11th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least ten total tackles. He forced a fumble and made 19 total tackles.
Cuero's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3. Gamez and Cuero will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ingleside at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Rockport-Fulton Gets a Boost from Alvarado in 49-14 Win
Traey Alvarado was a major factor in Rockport-Fulton's win over Ingleside on Friday. Alvarado was dynamite, rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
This year, Alvarado has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 72.1 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 28.63 rushing yards per game.

Walker Dietze Makes It Two for Cuero
