The West Clermont Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Winton Woods on the road and fell 71-41. West Clermont has struggled against the Warriors recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, West Clermont still got an impressive performance from Rayshawn Hubbard, who scored 15 points. That was a full 36.6% of West Clermont's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Brock-Sanderfer, who scored nine points.
West Clermont dropped their record down to 5-14 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Winton Woods, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Clermont's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Brave at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. As for Winton Woods, they will challenge the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Turpin will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 307th, while the Warriors are ranked 32nd).
