The Clayton Clippers can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They blew past Buena 46-20. The victory was just what Clayton needed coming off of a 72-43 defeat in their prior match.
Rainelle Blocker was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 17 rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Jones, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Clayton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Buena, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clayton will take on Pitman at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pitman is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Buena, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Joseph at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
