The Worth County Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat South Holt 57-29 at home. The victory was some much needed relief for Worth County as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Kynah Steele, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kristen Tracy, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds.
Worth County's win bumped their record up to 2-18. As for South Holt, they dropped their record down to 0-23 with that defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Worth County will be playing at home against East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Worth County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for South Holt, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 36-12 defeat vs. North Nodaway on the 9th.
