Those 16  points gave  Santesteban a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Leora Hagan, who  scored six points and five  steals.
 Lyons  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 22  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive rebounds in five consecutive  games.
 Front Range Baptist lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Emma Gerrard, who  had four  points and eight  boards. Another player making a difference was  Abbie VanDenBerghe, who  earned nine points.
Lyons' win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points per game. As for Front Range Baptist,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Lyons didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  51-27  defeat against Liberty Common on the 16th. As for Front Range Baptist, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  39-14  loss against Loveland Classical on the 17th.
