The Milford Eagles will face off against the Loveland Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Milford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Milford turned things around against West Clermont on Monday. They blew past the Wolves 11-1. Considering the Eagles have won eight contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Milford let Dillon Gamm and David Kittrell run wild. Gamm went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Kittrell went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Milford is undefeated when Kittrell posts two or more runs, but 7-8 otherwise. Sam Kiger was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Milford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Loveland entered their tilt with Blanchester on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Wildcats.
Ryan Chevalier looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits.
On the hitting side, Derek Fleming and Blake Carrigan did most of the damage at the plate: Fleming went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Carrigan went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Margraf, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Loveland pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Milford, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Milford hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319. However, it's not like Loveland struggles in that department as they've averaged .320. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
