The Richland Raiders entered their tilt with the Mt. Pleasant Tigers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Richland blew past Mt. Pleasant 70-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Richland also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Benderman, who scored 13 points along with 9 rebounds. The game was Benderman's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jakyri McClure, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Richland's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mt. Pleasant, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richland will challenge Loretto at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will head out on the road to face off against Zion Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
