The First Baptist Christian Eagles can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They breezed by Open Door Christian Academy at home to the tune of 56-27. The victory was just what First Baptist Christian needed coming off of a 58-22 loss in their prior contest.
Despite the loss, Open Door Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Parker Smith, who scored 15 points along with four blocks. That was a full 55.6% of Open Door Christian Academy's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
First Baptist Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Open Door Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
First Baptist Christian will head out on the road to face off against the Bengals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Brighton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Friday. Open Door Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
